When will Version 3.8 be released? From July 5, 2023, at 00:00, the update was live in the game. During this time, you could not play Genshin Impact. However, you will now receive a total of 600 Primogems as compensation.

What new characters are there in Version 3.8? The update does not bring us any new playable characters. Instead, already known characters will receive their rerun banners.
What banners are there in Version 3.8? The banners will appear in two phases. The first phase will run from the start of the update on July 5, 2023, until July 25, 2023, 17:59, and will include the following banners:
- “Hour of Waves” with Eula as a 5-star character; Razor, Thoma, and Mika as 4-star characters
- “Flaming Steps” with Klee as a 5-star character; Razor, Thoma, and Mika as 4-star characters
- “Divine Work” with “Claymore – Pine Sound” and “Catalyst – Prayers of the Four Winds”, several limited 4-star weapons
In the second phase, there will be the two rerun banners of the 5-star characters Wanderer and Kokomi.
What events are there in the first part of Version 3.8? More information is available about these events that will start soon in the new version of Genshin Impact:
- Summer! Paradise? Mirage!: Event duration from July 7, 2023, 04:00 until the end of Version 3.8, with Layla, Kaeya’s new outfit, Crown of Wisdom, and Primogems as rewards
- Adventurer’s Test – Chapter of Progress: Event duration from July 20, 2023, 10:00 until July 31, 2023, 03:59, with Primogems, Hero’s Wit, and Mora as rewards
- Brilliant Summoning Event: Glut of the Blacksmith’s Realm: Event duration: During Version 3.8
- Brilliant Summoning: Escalation Mode: The Best Travel Companion: Event duration from July 15, 2023, 10:00 until July 24, 2023, 03:59, with Luck Coins as rewards
What else is there in Version 3.8? With the start of the new version, these permanent contents are available:
- New outfit “Pure Star Light” for Klee
- New outfit “Shadow Fluttering Sails” for Kaeya (obtainable through event)
