Today on April 12, 2023, Version 3.6 “Reunion of Enlightenment” launched in Genshin Impact. Here you will find a summary of all important information about the new version.
When will Version 3.6 be released? Starting from April 12 at 00:00, the update in the game began and will last about 5 hours. The new version is now available.
As compensation, there were 600x Intertwined Fates for you.

What new characters are there in Version 3.6? The update brings players two new playable characters. However, they will only appear in the second banner phase and will likely be available starting May 2, 2023:
Baizhu is the new 5-star character of the version. He belongs to the Dendro element and fights with a catalyst. His constellation is called Lagenaria.

The new 4-star character is Kaveh. He is also a Dendro character and uses a Claymore. His constellation is called Paradisaea.
What banners are there in Version 3.6? The banners will appear in two phases. The first phase will run from the start of the update on April 12, 2023, until May 2, 2023, 17:59 and will include the following banners:
- “Enlightenment of the Moongrass” with Nahida as a 5-star character; Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Layla as 4-star characters
- “Whirling Lotus” with Nilou as a 5-star character; Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Layla as 4-star characters
- “Divine Work“ with “Catalyst – Flowing Dreams of a Thousand Nights” and “Claymore – Khaj-Nisut Key” as 5-star weapons, several limited 4-star weapons
In the second phase, there will be the event banner of Baizhu as well as a rerun banner of Ganyu. You can also obtain the new character Kaveh through both.
What events are there in the first part of Version 3.6? Further information is already available about the first events that will soon start in the new version of Genshin Impact:
- “Gathering of Enlightenment”: Event period from April 27, 2023, 10:00 to May 15, 2023, 03:59, with Faruzan, Crown of Wisdom, and Intertwined Fates as rewards
- “Mixture and Development”: Event period from April 13, 2023, 10:00 to April 24, 2023, 03:59 with Intertwined Fates, material for character talents, and Wisdom of One Hero as rewards
- “The Roaring of Wind and Sand”: Event period from April 21, 2023, 10:00 to May 1, 2023, 03:59 with Intertwined Fates, material for weapon ascension, and Wisdom of One Hero as rewards
- “Escalation Mode: Reinforcement from All Sides in Brilliant Summoning“: Event period from April 29, 2023, to May 8, 2023, 03:59, with Luck Coins as rewards

- Legendary Quest “Sapientia Oromasdis – Act 2” with Nahida
- Invitation event with Layla
- New Sumeru area in the desert
