The new Titanfall 2- content of the “The War Games” update is showcased in the gameplay trailer. New maps are also included in the patch.
A new content update has been available for Titanfall 2 since yesterday. The update is called The War Games and brings new maps, another execution, and the “Free Agents” game mode. In the trailer, the developers introduce you to the new content:
The War Games – Patch Notes
The new free DLC for Titanfall 2 brings a familiar map back into the game and opens up another weapon slot for pilots. In the patch notes, the developers announced what else will change in the game due to the update.
- New Maps: War Games and Traffic (only for the Live Fire mode)
- Execution: Shadow Boxing (Holo Pilot)
- Third Weapon Slot: All pilots can now carry a primary, secondary, and anti-Titan weapon. The second and third weapon can each be a pistol or an anti-Titan weapon.
- Console players press Y or Triangle to switch to the second weapon.
- Hold Y or Triangle to select the third weapon.
- PC players use the keys 1, 2, 3 to switch between the weapons.
- New Featured Mode: Free Agents
Private Matches now provide you with many more settings to choose from. This includes:
- Round/Points Limit
- Round Time Limit
- Pilot Boosts on/off
- Pilot Boost/Titan Meter Multiplier 25% – 500%
- Pilot Boost / Titan Meter Overdrive on, off
- Pilot Health 25% – 500%
- Respawn Delay 0 – 40 seconds
- Titan Core Meter Multiplier 25% – 500%
A new Easter egg awaits you! The developers write in the patch notes that there is a new Easter egg on the Glitch map.
