The new free DLC for Titanfall 2 is called “A Glitch in the Frontier” and will be released next week with these contents.
Developers Respawn Entertainment and EA released details about what you can expect in the new Titanfall 2 DLC. The free expansion is called A Glitch in the Frontier and will be available starting next week. There is a new multiplayer map called Glitch and many other interesting changes that we will introduce to you.
A Glitch in the Frontier – DLC
In the embedded trailer, you could already get a few impressions of the new free DLC for Titanfall 2. New maps with tight pathways ensure action in the game, leaving hardly any time for reading the map overview, as the player painfully had to experience in the video. The highlights of the expansion, which will be released on April 25, sound promising and will delight fans of the shooter.
New Map: “Glitch”
- This new map has a medium size and is designed for modes with objectives. It was inspired by Captain Lastimosas home planet “Harmony”. The map features vertical differences and long, winding paths. This offers plenty of potential for wall-running combinations, as seen in the trailer.
New Map for Live Fire Mode: “Deck”
- There are many visual stimuli on the Deck map for the Live Fire mode. You will find tight interiors and open courtyards there, as well as vigilant drones hovering over you during your matches. In the background, you might spot one or two M.R.V.N.
In addition to these two cool maps, there are other notable contents in the A Glitch in the Frontier DLC. These include:
- M.R.V.N. faction
- Execution Mode: As a featured mode, you will find Execution at the launch of A Glitch in the Frontier.
- Main Menu Update: The menu has been updated and refreshed. There are icons for news and other changes that you should take a look at.
- Generation Limit for Pilots Increased:
- The new upper limit is now 100
- New Gen symbols for your call signs are available. You get a new one for every ten reached gens.
- Choice: Choose between Prime and standard executions for Titans
- New Execution: The new execution in the DLC is called Get to the Point (Impulse Blade)
- Private Games with Live Fire: The private game options now include the Live Fire mode.
