Finding the treasure of the Fonos Basin in Throne and Liberty is not easy; we have the solution for you to reach the treasure.
Where is the treasure hidden? The treasure of the Fonos Basin is buried in the northwest of the “Fonos Basin waypoint.” However, you can only discover it at night, as it is not visible during the day. So pay attention to the time in the game, which you can read in the bottom right corner of the world map or the top left of the minimap.
Many orcs lurk in the Fonos Basin, attacking you as soon as you enter their territory. It is advisable to first complete the second part of the side quest “Land of the Wild, Fonos Basin” to receive the transformation of the “Orc Slayer.” If you transform into one of them, they will no longer attack you.

How to find the treasure of the Fonos Basin
You will find the treasure only at night in the northwest of the “Fonos Basin waypoint.” We have all the details for you about the quest.
Treasure of the Fonos Basin Part One: Starting the Quest
The quest begins after you have spoken to the NPC “Treasure Hunter.” He is located at “Fonos Basin” right next to the “Forno Basin waypoint” and is waiting for you there.
Treasure of the Fonos Basin Part Two: Finding the Key
The NPC asks you to procure the “Treasure Key.” To do this, you need to venture into the orc territory and defeat “Orc Shamans” until one of them drops the key. This may take some time. Remember, only “Orc Shamans” will drop the key – other orcs do not.
If you assign a star to the quest in the codex, the required monsters will be marked with a small blue star on the world map, so you can find the right opponents faster.
Treasure of the Fonos Basin Part Three: Finding the Chest
The third part of the quest goes faster if you activate the star marking. Once you have received the “Treasure Key” from an “Orc Shaman,” the location of the chest will be displayed on the map that you need to open next.
Now, the orc transformation comes into play if you possess it from the second part of the side quest “Land of the Wild, Fonos Basin.” If not, you can catch up by defeating the mini-boss “Orc Slayer Chief,” who is also located in the “Fonos Basin.”
With the transformation, you can safely approach the chest without being hit by the orcs. With the quest marking, the chest is easy to find. However, inside the chest is a treasure map, and the red circle on it indicates where you can find the “Treasure of the Fonos Basin.”
Treasure of the Fonos Basin Part Four: The Treasure
You will find the treasure in the northwest of the “Forno Basin waypoint,” but only at night. If it is currently daytime in your game, you will unfortunately have to wait some minutes for night to fall. Here too, the orc transformation proves useful. As an orc, you can go to the treasure site and wait there until the sun goes down without being attacked by other orcs.
