The update of Season 1 for Diablo 4 is online and brings some new items and legendary aspects into the game. Especially one unique wand has caught the community’s attention.
What kind of item is this? It is called “The Oculus.” This is a new, unique wand in Diablo 4 that comes with a special effect that no other item or aspect in the game offers:
- The Oculus (unique wand): You receive the effect of the enchantment Teleportation for free. When you use Escape with the enchantment Teleportation, you land at a random location.
The item causes a lot of laughter among players. The new fantasy epic Baldur’s Gate 3 plays a major role in this.

Why is the new wand useless? With the ability “Teleport,” wizards progress faster in Diablo 4 than the other classes. With the wand, the use becomes free – that’s something.
However, this free teleportation sends you to an indeterminate point, somewhere randomly near your position when casting. In a game where enemies spread deadly effects all over the battlefield, such an item is simply useless.

The video shows a wizard teleporting a bit forward with the Teleport, and then the screen goes black. Suddenly, a loading screen from Baldur’s Gate 3 appears – the new role-playing game celebrates its full release on PC at the beginning of August and is highly anticipated on Steam.
It is another jab at the Season update of Diablo 4. Because the update 1.1 was not well received by many players. In the Reddit thread, players share their schadenfreude, but also their excitement for the finished Baldur’s Gate 3 – here you can find more info about the release.
