Queen Azshara is the major boss of Patch 8.2 in World of Warcraft. A first look at the boss fight has already been seen in the PTR.
Currently, the Patch 8.2 Azshara’s Rise is playable on the PTR of World of Warcraft. In addition to the new areas Nazjatar and Mechagon , players can also take a look at the upcoming raid, the Eternal Palace. First impressions of the final boss are also available – and it is none other than Queen Azshara.
Typical Naga fight with many adds: The battles against great leaders of the Naga have a tradition in World of Warcraft. Generally, a main aspect of the fight consists not only of the battle against the boss itself but also of managing the numerous additional enemies that appear during the fight. This will obviously also be the case in the first phase of the fight against Queen Azshara.
A small first impression of the fight is given by this video:
Final boss usually a secret: In many cases, however, Blizzard takes a different approach and does not show the final boss of a raid beforehand on the PTR. Professional guilds and others must then enter the fight completely unprepared. On the other hand, there is often an additional boss phase in the mythic difficulty that is particularly challenging. Whether this will also be the case with Azshara remains to be seen.
Cutscene expected after the fight: It is also expected that there will be a dramatic cutscene after the fight that probably involves the Old God N’Zoth. Traditionally, this is also not revealed on the PTR and is only shown when a guild defeats the boss for the first time on the live server.
Azshara will even kill you if you use the wrong emote.
Are you looking forward to the raid “Eternal Palace” in World of Warcraft? Or do you have another highlight in Patch 8.2?
