Funcom has released the Season Pass for the second year of Conan Exiles . It includes the upcoming four DLCs, which we expect to arrive throughout 2019. One of the DLCs is already available.
Which DLCs are coming? Funcom has recently announced four more DLCs for Conan Exiles:
- Treasures of Turan
- Riders of Hyboria
- Blood and Sand
- Mysteries of Acheron
All together are available in the also obtainable Season Pass. This costs €29.99, nearly €10 less than all DLCs combined, which are expected to cost €9.99 each.
What’s included in the DLCs: The DLCs for Conan Exiles have so far only included cosmetic skins for weapons, building parts, or even the new pets. This tradition will likely continue for the upcoming DLCs.
They are always themed around one of the cultures in the vast universe of Conan the Barbarian. The Turan are a people inspired by Persian or Turkish culture. “Turan” means “Turkestan” or “the land of the Turks” in Persian. What is specifically included in the Turan DLC is already known:
- 39 Turan building pieces and 9 placeable items
- 15 Turan armor pieces in 3 sets (light, medium, and heavy)
- 9 Turan weapons
- 5 war paints
- 2 new pack animal companions
The other DLCs can only be inferred from their names:
- Riders of Hyboria – as a classic people of riders, the Mongols and Huns are often seen in history. Their counterpart in Conan would be the Hyrcanians.
- Blood and Sand – possibly a Darfari DLC. Darfari are known as inhabitants of desert-like regions and typically worship the cannibal god Yog.
- Mysteries of Acheron – Acheron is a long-lost realm of dark sorcerers and represents one of the rivers of the Greek mythical Hades. Therefore, it could involve dark arts and ominous equipment.
How do I get the DLCs? Both the “Treasures of Turan” DLC and the Season Pass are already available for PS4 and PC:
- to the Season Pass (Year 2) of Conan Exiles on Steam
- to the Season Pass (Year 2) of Conan Exiles in the PS Store
The Season Pass for Xbox One is expected to be released later.
Is Conan Exiles worth it? Since Early Access in 2017, much has changed in Conan Exiles. It is even among our 10 best survival games of 2019. Although the game has improved a lot, this has not helped player numbers on Steam very much.
