In Fortnite: Battle Royale, new information about the K-Pop skin IKONIK is finally available. However, the outfit is only available if you pre-order an incredibly expensive new Samsung smartphone.
What is the new skin IKONIK? The concept of the “K-Pop” skin has been circulating through Fortnite’s data leaks for a long time. Now there is new information. The skin is supposed to represent K-Pop star Jung Changwoo, who is part of the K-Pop band iKON. That’s why the skin is also called IKONIK.

How to get the skin? Like the controversial Galaxy skin, IKONIK is only available if you purchase an expensive high-end smartphone from the Korean provider Samsung. With the Galaxy, it was the S9 Note, but if you want IKONIK, you have to pre-order the new flagship device S10+.
What does the skin cost? The upcoming elite smartphone from South Korea is set to be released here on March 8, 2019. However, the price is very high at 1,250 euros. So if you are considering buying the phone just for the skin, you should think it over again.
Since not every Fortnite player will want to buy an Android smartphone in this price range, players who wield IKONIK should be relatively rare.
The skin has the potential to become a real rarity. At least until the S10 Plus is on the market for a few years and drops into lower price categories.
What fans say about it: The news caused mixed feelings among Fortnite fans on Reddit. Many believe that the skin looks worse than the Galaxy skin, which is generally very well received.
