Dead by Daylight: The Horror Game Gets Even Scarier
What is the event about? During the time around Halloween, the event “Hallowed Blight” takes place in Dead by Daylight. The Entity, the mysterious being that constantly pits killers against survivors, undergoes a cleansing. As a result, strange plants appear throughout the game world that contain a special substance.
What can you do special? As survivors, you can “harvest” various plants during matches and produce serum from them. As killers, however, you must bring the survivors to special hooks that are also overgrown with plants.
Once enough has been “harvested”, you receive a serum.
What can be earned? Every 10 serum can be exchanged in the shop for special Halloween costumes. These can be quite grotesque. There are five different costumes for killers and two additional ones for survivors. If you don’t manage to earn your favorite set completely, you don’t have to despair – the sets will remain available in the shop afterwards.
World of Warcraft: The Headless Horseman Returns!
What are the Hallow’s End in World of Warcraft? In Azeroth, the “Hallow’s End” takes place during Halloween. The Headless Horseman wreaks havoc, and the characters of Azeroth dress up spooky, play pranks on each other, and eat plenty of sweets.
What can you do special? Daily visits to the event boss “Headless Horseman” are worthwhile, as he has good loot and might even drop a mount. But other activities, such as collecting candies around the world, are also lucrative.
The treats serve as currency and can unlock many pets or toys. If you prefer more useful things, you can also use them to upgrade your heirlooms for Twinks.
What rewards are there? There are many rewards during Hallow’s End. In addition to numerous toys and pets, there is also solid gear from the Headless Horseman. It is also the only time of the year when you can get the “Many-Faced Coin”.
This is a toy that can transform you into over 100 different characters. Also available is a flying broom for quickly zooming through the world – you can mount it spontaneously (no cast time).
Guild Wars 2: Celebrate with the Mad King!
What is the event about? The Mad King Thorn is an former ruler of the human royal line in Guild Wars 2. He tormented his subjects for fun until they finally revolted and beheaded him.
Every year at Halloween, he may briefly return to the world of humans to spread fear and terror. In place of his head, he has put a pumpkin on himself.
What are the special features? The Mad King grants us entrance to his realm in the underworld. There await us special adventures such as the clock tower as jumping puzzles, mount races, or the labyrinth with various mini-games. The city of Lions Arch and the areas in Kryta will also be beautifully adorned.
What loot is available? During Halloween, you can expect spooky miniatures, rare weapon skins, and creepy infusions. Much of it can be found in the trick-or-treat bags that can be earned in every Halloween activity.
