The Elder Scrolls Online: Become a Monster!
What is the event about? The Elder Scrolls Online does not just adopt festivals from our world. Rather, Halloween in Tamriel is known as “Witch Festival” from October 18 to November 1, 2018, and is a fixed part of the tradition.
What are the special features? This year brings a lot of cool things for the Witch Festival. You can once again transform into a monster with Witch Brew and spread fear and terror.
What loot is available? ESO excels here, as there is a ton of cool loot to grab. In addition to the Witch Brew and an XP bonus, you also get feathers for your cool, upgradeable Indrik mount and special loot boxes from boss fights containing a completely new crafting style.
Overwatch: The PvE Cooperative Event Returns
What is the event about? In Overwatch, the coop event “Junkenstein’s Revenge” is back this year. There are new skins and decorated maps again.
What are the special features? The highlight of Halloween in Overwatch is the game mode “Junkenstein’s Revenge” as usual. In it, you play in coop with three other players and fend off wave after wave of PvE enemies along with bosses.
What loot is available? During the event, you can draw special Halloween skins and emotes from loot boxes. This year there are new skins for Moira, Doomfist, Pharah, Sombra, Soldier: 76 and the crazy hamster.
Destiny 2: Celebrate the Festival of the Lost
What is the event about? In Destiny 2, the Halloween event “Festival of the Lost” is finally celebrated. From October 16 to November 6, it commemorates the fallen Guardians.
What are the special features? During the event, the Tower is richly decorated. You also get special bounties from Amanda Holliday, which allow you to unlock special event items.
Additionally, there is a dark version of the Always Forest, known as the “Haunted Forest”. There, you will fight against ghouls and creepy creatures.
Moreover, starting October 30, there will be a detective quest in which you solve a murder case.
What loot is available? As special rewards, you can look forward to new triumphs as well as funny masks, an event weapon, and armor as well as special Eververse content. This includes thematically inspired ghost shells, ships, sparrows or emotes.
Pokémon GO: Catch the Spookiest Creatures!
What is the event about? In Halloween, you can catch special monsters in Pokémon GO from October 23 to November 1.
What are the special features? First of all, there are five new Pokémon from Generation 4 to be found for Halloween. There will also be various ghost- and dark-type Pokémon, including Kryppuk, which you can only catch via special research.
You can only find the legendary Pokémon Giratina in raids.
What loot is available? In addition to all the new Pokémon, there are new Field Research tasks for Halloween, which allow you to earn special bonuses. A number of event Pokémon can be found in shiny form.
