- Medic: Medics heal allies, for example with an area-of-effect skill. They can deploy a “Shield Regeneration Totem” that replenishes their shield. Furthermore, they revive allies faster and can open boxes more quickly.
- Engineer: The Engineer can use a “Spitfire Turret” that attacks enemies in the vicinity. In addition, he creates a wall for protection.

When does it start? Steam lists January 29, 2019, as the release date for Planetside Arena.
Can you play earlier? If you purchase the Sanctuary Assault Edition for currently around 17 Euros, you get access to the beta, as well as the season pass and a special armor for the Assault.
