We at MeinMMO have taken a look at who the most relevant Twitch streamers in Germany are according to Google in 2024. The ranking shows that it is not the very young who dominate but those who constantly hear remarks about their age. Positions 1 and 2 are held by two gentlemen in their 30s: They almost equally share Germany.
How was the statistic created? We measured on Google Trends which German Twitch streamer generated the most interest by querying well-known German-speaking streamers and then pitting the fifth-placed streamer against a challenger.
We also compared the results with the viewer statistics of the respective streamers, as found on the analysis page SullyGnome.
A Man Without a Face in 5th Place
Who is in 5th place? The Minecraft specialist BastiGHG (27) has made it to 5th place. Although he is only in 7th place for the most viewed hours, the interest in him is significantly higher than in some who rank above him.
BastiGHG surely benefits from a strong presence on YouTube and his friendship with Papaplatte. Moreover, he streams a lot and regularly: He has been on air daily for over 8 years.
BastiGHG is a special case on Twitch because he does not appear with a face but remains anonymous. Just like the Minecraft streamer Dream did for years.
The interest in BastiGHG is currently at its highest throughout the year, especially since “CraftAttack” is running, a major Minecraft event.
