How does it play? Up to 100 players play together in a match of Fortnite. The map shrinks down to a central point due to a storm. You fight alone or in teams. The last surviving player or the last standing team wins.
At the beginning of a game, you jump from a designated point over the map. You then glide to the ground, search the houses and surroundings for loot, and equip yourself with weapons, shields, and building materials.
With your pickaxe, you can break down buildings or trees to gather materials to construct new buildings. These are used for attack or defense.
How does the title make money? In Fortnite’s shop, you can purchase the in-game currency V-Bucks. This can be used to buy cosmetic items like skins, emotes, or paint jobs.
Additionally, you can purchase a battle pass for each season. It costs €9.50 and entices with additional cosmetic items. V-Bucks can also be earned in-game. There is no pay-to-win in Fortnite.
What interesting things have happened in Fortnite: Battle Royale? Fortnite surprises players every few weeks with special events in-game. With each season, the map changes to special themes. In Season 8, there’s a volcano and pirates.
On April 25, a huge crossover event with the Avengers from Marvel starts.
Additionally, the qualification for the Fortnite World Championship is currently ongoing, where $30 million in prize money will be at stake.
Due to Fortnite’s great success, many streamers on Twitch have grown and become famous personalities (like Ninja).
