Kafka Hibino

Who is he? Kafka is not a typical teenage hero, but rather 32 years old and is in the midst of life. He works at a cleanup squad as a cleaner, removing body parts of gigantic monsters known as Kaiju. After the radiant heroes have finished their work, Kafka basically cleans up after them.
Since childhood, he has dreamed of becoming part of the elite unit of the attack squad. However, he keeps failing the entrance exams and eventually gives up on his dream.
What coincidence happened with him? Kafka has the luck of a parasite flying into his mouth. Through the strange Kaiju, the character suddenly becomes a Kaiju himself and can help the elite unit in eliminating the malevolent monsters.
If the parasite had never landed in him, Kafka would have continued doing his job as a cleaner. He has shown neither special talent nor strength to reach this position. His goal was never to help humanity, but to uphold a personal promise to his childhood friend.
