In a new video, Marco talks about 5 Bond films that you definitely should see:
Why now? For an entire month, Amazon Prime is offering all films from the main series in the subscription service and in 4K quality. This decision was prompted by the annual James Bond Day, which this year fell exactly 62 years after the release of the first Bond film on October 5, 1962.
62 years of James Bond, 25 films
Here are the 5 Bond films that Marco says you absolutely should not miss:
- GoldenEye (1995)
- The Living Daylights (1987)
- For Your Eyes Only (1981)
- Thunderball (1965)
- On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
Why these films? The main series alone now includes 25 films, in which the secret agent has been portrayed by six different actors. You would therefore be busy for quite some time if you wanted to watch all the films.
So that you don’t miss the best that James Bond has to offer, Marco names five films that you definitely should see. These films represent over 62 years of 007 like few others and are among the most influential Bond films of all time.
These films have not only shaped our current image of James Bond but have also inspired directors beyond this series. For example, Christopher Nolan is a big Bond fan, which is reflected in some of his films. In another video, Marco talks about a Bond film that we must never see.
