£30 prize for the Fortnite Monday at the Warehouse Pub
In the British city of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, there is a pub called “The Warehouse.” The place is especially popular with students and offers freshly tapped ale and quirky craft beers along with hearty meals.
But recently, there’s the “Fortnite Monday” at the Warehouse. At one of the tables, there is a screen with a controller attached. Fortnite: Battle Royale is played there. Everyone is allowed to play, and whoever wins a round gets a voucher worth 30 British pounds – which is just over 33€!

“If you’re already gaming all the time …”
Those who think it’s pretty silly to game all the time during a pub evening will find little understanding at the Warehouse. Guests think the action is pretty cool and are fiercely competing for the beer voucher.
Even Fortnite haters find the idea good. A friend of a Fortnite fan commented well on Facebook:
“If you insist on playing this damn game all the time, you might as well win and get a few drinks for us!”
Fun Fact: So far, only one person has won the voucher. The first victory occurred on March 7, 2018, and was immortalized on the pub’s Facebook page.
