The casino in GTA Online will soon open. Players hope for a big DLC and content like cars, gambling, and heists. However, expectations are deliberately kept low.
What is the casino? The casino building has existed since 2013 in the online world of Grand Theft Auto V. However, it has been closed until now. While players could visit the property, drive through the parking lot, and see the advertisement, entering the building was impossible.
Now the developers of Rockstar Games have confirmed a big change for GTA Online: The casino will be opened.
Official information is scarce. All we know is that the Vinewood Casino will be opened. When the date is and what other DLC content will accompany the opening is still completely unclear. Rockstar has kept this under wraps so far.
These are the players’ wishes for the casino DLC in GTA Online
After the first changes on the map of GTA 5 appeared at the casino, many fans immediately expressed their wishes for the new content.

Roulette, Blackjack, and Poker
Gambling games like roulette and poker are often mentioned that players wish for the casino. Poker was recently unlocked in the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2.
“Ahh roulette, my Maze Bank account is ready,” writes player CressAlvein.

Luxury vehicles and mansions for millionaires
Players wish for luxury vehicles to show off. In keeping with the casino, they want to flaunt their wealth and arrive in hot rides.

On Reddit, user st3b0 writes: “I really hope that villas and some high-end luxury vehicles will be included in the DLC.”
Player TK_42one adds that he would love to have a chauffeur. “What good is it to have a limo if I have to drive it myself like a poor person?” He notes that he is a powerful CEO in the online world after all.
In addition to the luxury vehicles, this desire for a classic Benz received a lot of positive feedback.
A big DLC with heists in casino style
Players generally hope that Rockstar will bring many new contents to GTA Online with this update and not just activate a few gambling options.
Heists are an important topic. Heists bring a lot of money in GTA Online and a casino theme would be ideal for such a scenario. Players on Reddit immediately think of the movie Oceans 11, where three casinos in Las Vegas are supposed to be relieved of 150 million dollars.

A quiet round to meet people
In the community, the desire for a place in the casino to meet quietly away from the chaos of the outside world is well received.
Reddit user xAustin90x writes: “I hope that it is at least, if at all, an open lobby hub where people can really hang out. Meet new people to team up with, chat, and just have a good time. Apart from the third world war happening outside.”

Overpriced prices for content/microtransactions
That there are many incentives for microtransactions in GTA Online is no secret. New vehicles, aircraft, and properties can all be bought with in-game currency – GTA dollars. But new cars in GTA Online are expensive.
If players don’t feel like grinding a lot, they might buy the in-game currency through shark cards for real money.
Players fear that the casino DLC will come with many contents at overpriced prices to get people to buy shark cards.

Expectations that will not be met
Players expect a lot of new content from the casino. However, they fear that expectations are set too high.
Player Jewbaccah writes on Reddit: “I bet $100 it will be a disappointment and not even close to what an MMORPG casino could be (Yes, GTA Online is an MMORPG in the broadest sense).”
