The new action game Predator: Hunting Grounds will present you with action-packed and bloody multiplayer battles. Now we also know when the game is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One. The release date is April 24, 2020.
What is Predator: Hunting Grounds? The asymmetrical multiplayer action game comes from Illfonic, who made a name for themselves with Friday the 13th: The Game.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is based on a very similar gameplay principle. The scenario is based on the movie Predator from 1987 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- One player takes on the role of the alien Predator
- The other players are mercenaries and soldiers carrying out various tasks
- The Predator hunts the other players, using his futuristic weapons and can even cloak himself
- The soldiers try to achieve their objectives and survive
- The Predator wants to kill the soldiers and make trophies out of them

A bloody affair
What does the trailer show? The trailer showcases some interesting things. First, there is the ultra-bloody gameplay. Predator: Hunting Grounds is not for players with weak nerves. The hunter rips the spines along with skulls from his victims, as he collects them as trophies. He also inflicts devastating damage with his weapons. Soldiers are often missing a few limbs.
Additionally, you will see a selection of the weapons used by the hunter. These include

There is even a female Predator. She is fast, agile, and likes to fight with the bow.
