The second place goes to Timothy Tim
McGee and Abby Scuito with 3,460 searches. Whether the two were really a couple is still not 100% confirmed. However, they were at least on a date together in episode 7 of the first season, and later Tim remarks that he slept in a coffin. Abby reminds him that he didn’t just sleep in it.
From the second season onward, these hints decrease significantly. Although the two still maintain a very good working relationship, they are definitely no longer a couple. In season 22, Tim is still married to his long-time wife Delilah, with whom he has two children. Abby has also exited the series. A happy ending for McAbby will at least never be officially achieved.
Rank 1: Tiva – Ziva David and Anthony DiNozzo
Ranked first with a staggering over 165,000 searches worldwide is Tiva – Ziva David and Anthony DiNozzo. The two were in a relationship between seasons 3 and 11, until the departure of Ziva’s actress Cote de Pablo, often having sparks between them over the years, sometimes more, sometimes less.
Both dated other people: Jeanne Benoit, Tony’s former (work) relationship, even made it to this top 5. Ziva’s longer partner Ray, on the other hand, did not. And even while both were actually with other people, the question often arose whether there might be something going on with each other.
A proper on-screen confirmation
in the form of a wedding or something similar has never happened for the two. When Tony leaves Team Gibbs and the series in season 13, he does so to take care of their daughter Tali. He is told that Ziva died during an assassination attempt. Only in season 17 is there certainty: Ziva is alive.
By now, the two live with their daughter Tali in Paris, as can be seen in the NCIS spin-off Tony & Ziva. However, it’s not all peace, love, and happiness – otherwise there wouldn’t be a new series. However, the new series is receiving good reviews: NCIS Tony & Ziva brings back the dream couple from the main series, is rated significantly better than the original’s start
