Rank 3: Soul of Cinder (Dark Souls 3)
The Soul of Cinder represents the final boss of Dark Souls 3. It is not a person, but a manifestation of all the masters who have connected with the first fire. Therefore, it contains all ash lords, gods, and protagonists from previous installments, sharing their strength and thus also their combat styles.
In battle, the Soul of Cinder can use magic, pyromancy, and miracles, as well as adapt its twisted sword to different weapon types depending on its transformation. This boss therefore represents the ultimate test for the protagonist to find out if he is worthy of the fire binding.
According to the lore, it is impossible for a human or a god to master so many abilities, yet the Soul of Cinder can do so. Additionally, this being must be defeated twice to emerge victorious, which shows that the Soul of Cinder is of divine nature.
