In the latest patch of The Secret World, players are getting housing – in an obscure form.

The Secret World is different. Crazier. Stranger. It is not surprising that the MMORPG does not come with an ordinary housing system, but makes the whole thing more absurd. Instead of being able to furnish a cozy home, each player can create their very own version of a London museum. The exhibits? Pretty much all the creatures you got to beat up during your career.
From the developers’ perspective, this is mainly a good opportunity to finally present all those beasts in a calm environment. Many players wouldn’t even know what they were actually fighting, as there is little time in most encounters to observe the details of the monsters. Especially players with a collecting obsession might enjoy the museum. The more knowledge you acquire about a particular creature, the more impressive poses can be selected for the exhibits.
However, those who want to have the biggest boss opponents in their collection must first defeat them. The hefty foes also grant access to special potions that allow players to briefly summon pets that can heal, inflict damage, or apply buffs to the character.
Once you are satisfied with your museum, you can guide other players through the haunted house – up to 50 players can mingle in the halls and admire (or laugh at) whatever you want to display.
To unlock the museum with all its wings and possible pedestals, however, you should plan a lot of time – completing the collections is time-intensive.
