In the Dark Fantasy/Horror MMO The Secret World, a golden bonus weekend runs until October 13th.
At Secret World, there are many perks for players during the weekend with the “Golden Weekend”, so for every power point a player earns until October 13th, they get one additional. Those who purchase Funcom points will receive a 20% bonus on every subsequent purchase of those points for the next 6 months. The cosmetic outfit “Heavy Metal” is available with a 90% discount in the in-game shop.
And recruiting new players becomes more rewarding, as there’s a bonus free month as a “Premium” player. To qualify, you just need to send out the invitation over the weekend; the invited player must then decide within 30 days to give TSW a chance.
But it’s not just “out there” that things are happening, but also directly in the Secret World. In the event “Golden Wrath”, groups of players can hunt a “monstrous golem”, as it is said, before which even Tokyo is not safe. Here, special rewards can be earned.
