On November 14, 2025, Where Winds Meet will also be released in the West. To be ready right away, you can pre-download the new open-world RPG – but not on all platforms at once.
What are the differences? While you can easily download the game on PC via Steam, Epic Games, and the official launcher, the situation is a bit different on PS5 right now.
You can preload Where Winds Meet on PS5, but currently, there is only the optional pre-order package available for around €17.99. So, if you want to preload the game currently, you can only do so if you purchase the package or if you have previously participated in the beta and the game has already been added to your library.
When inquiring with the developers, we were confirmed that a preload on PS5 is only possible if you purchase the preorder bundle; otherwise, you will have to wait for the full release on November 14, 2025, at 11:00 PM CET before you can start playing. Steam shows 5:00 PM as availability, but it is likely that you will not be able to enter the game then, as the official information states 11:00 PM.
The mobile versions for Android and iOS will start at this time with pre-registration options and will be released on December 12.
WARNING: We have received reports from the community that the game is not available in Austria. Unfortunately, according to developers, that is currently the case, and it is not a bug. It is currently unknown if and when the game will be available there. If the game is also not available in your region, please leave us a comment.

How large is the preload? The size of the download on PC depends on the version you choose. There are theoretically three variants that you can choose in the client:
- Lite – 68 GB
- Standard – 100 GB
- Ultimate – 120 GB (not available at launch)
Additionally, an SSD hard drive is recommended to ensure optimal performance.
On PS5, the preload is approximately 108 GB.
What system requirements must the PC meet? To run Where Winds Meet on your PC, you should meet the following requirements:

- Memory: 16 GB RAM

- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER, AMD RX 6700 XT, or Intel ARC A750

Additionally, if you want to play Where Winds Meet on multiple platforms, you should link your accounts beforehand. You should also note at launch that you do not make a mistake during character creation, as cross-progression will not be possible if you do. If you want to play the new RPG hit from China on PC and PS5, you should urgently complete one task first.
