It’s that time: The Overwatch Halloween Horror Event 2018 is starting with a new patch. Log in and secure the new skins and play the event mode Junkenstein’s Revenge.
Overwatch Halloween Horror Event 2018 online since 8:30 PM: On Tuesday, October 9th at 8:30 PM Central European Time, a patch for Overwatch was released.
The patch brings the Overwatch Halloween Horror Event 2018. The event runs until October 31st. You now have 3 weeks to earn the new skins and cosmetics.
Spooky Halloween Skins in Overwatch
6 Legendary and 3 Epic Skins: In the Halloween Horror Event 2018, 6 Overwatch heroes will receive a new legendary skin:
- Moira and Doomfist
- Pharah and Wrecking Ball
- and Soldier:76 and Sombra
Additionally, 3 more heroes will receive an epic skin: McCree, Widowmaker, and Mei. In our gallery, you can view all the new skins.
Buying and Earning Skins: To obtain the skins, you can either open event loot boxes or buy the skins directly with credits. You receive one loot box for free when you log in to the Halloween Horror Event, 10 more when you buy 50 loot boxes.
If you want to buy the skins with credits, you will pay
- 3000 credits for legendary skins
- 750 credits for epic skins.
You can also obtain the old skins from the Halloween Horror Event 2017 and the Halloween Horror Event 2016 in loot boxes or by purchasing them. You will pay the regular prices for those.
More Cosmetics and Junkenstein’s Revenge: Together with the skins, there are also this year 2 highlight intros for Brigitte and Winston, a Zombie emote for Bastion, as well as some voice lines and victory poses.
With the Halloween Horror Event 2018, the event mode “Junkenstein’s Revenge” is also returning, in which you face waves of Zomnics (Zombie Omnics) in a PvE mode with three other players. If you manage this with 6 different heroes, a trophy awaits you.
