Overwatch celebrates its third birthday and has once again launched the “Anniversary Event.” We show you all the new skins that can be earned.
As announced, a new patch is now live in Overwatch, which has also reactivated the “Anniversary Event.” For three weeks, players now have time to earn the new skins and dances in Blizzard’s hero shooter.

How to obtain the skins? As usual, the skins are obtainable from loot boxes, which can only be purchased or earned with real money during the duration of the event. If you have accumulated enough credits, you can also buy a coveted skin directly with credits and thereby bypass the random element.
A legendary loot box is free: Anyone who logs in during the event receives a legendary loot box for free. As the name suggests, one item in this box is guaranteed to be of legendary quality. Even if you are not playing currently, it is still worth logging in at least once.
How long does the event last? The Overwatch Anniversary 2019 runs from May 21 (today) to June 10. You have exactly three weeks to earn the desired content.
The Workshop is now live: The patch also brought a new feature, namely the Workshop. Here players can create their own game modes and even prototype their own heroes. However, this requires a bit of programming experience. Some of the crazy examples can be seen in these articles:
