In Diablo 4 is Season 9 officially live and brings new content to the ARPG. While Blizzard is waving fresh features and balance changes, a small but fine detail is causing particularly much enthusiasm.
What is the highlight for many? In Diablo, you can customize your weapons and equipment purely cosmetically – so use transmog to slay through the game in style. And starting from Season 9, it gets even more convenient: You can equip complete sets with just one click. Previously, you had to painstakingly collect the set pieces.
To equip all pieces of a set, move your cursor over the set item you want to choose and hold down the key that is displayed to you (on PC, it is the left mouse click). Your player character will then wear a complete armor set and you are ready to go – or dye it further.
This is how the change is received: In a post on Reddit, the user Ropp_Stark points out the new “Quality of Life” feature. His post has already collected over 1,000 upvotes. Many in the comments are happy about the change, as it seems to be the highlight of the new season for many. For example, acog writes: “This is a great QoL change for anyone who has a lot of transmogs!”
Seasonal Features, Uniques & New Activities
What else is new in Season 9? With Season 9 came both seasonal features in Diablo 4 and permanent updates:
- You will receive the Horadric spells through a seasonal quest line, enhancing your builds.
- On top of that, there are Horadric jewels that you craft with so-called tomes from Horadric treasure chambers. These jewels further enhance your spells and bring additional strong bonuses. They are used in amulets and rings.
- Every class gets a new unique in Season 9. Additionally, the item quality from drops increases depending on the difficulty level.
- You can activate the next nightmare dungeon directly in the nightmare dungeons and continue without any detours, saving you time and load screens.
Additionally, Blizzard is shaking up the endgame and some activities in Season 9. In particular, the nightmare dungeons have received an update, as there are now escalating nightmare dungeons, “Horadric treasure chambers,” and a few quality-of-life improvements.
