In Fortnite there is now a new excavation site in Dusty Divot. This time the stones are much more stable, but digging is already in full swing.
This is new now: Players have found a new excavation site on the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale after today’s update 8.20 on April 2nd. The trucks and excavators are standing around a huge hole filled with stones. The point is located in the middle of Dusty Divot. About in the middle of F5/F6 and G5/G6.
The stones have one billion hit points and are attackable. But only with the harvesting tool. Fortnite players are currently busy hitting the stones with their pickaxes. Each hit inflicts 50 damage to a stone. That’s not much, but an estimated tens of thousands of players are hitting it at the same time. You can watch the hit points display sink.
At least 7 of these stones are currently still in the hole. What lies behind them is the big secret that drives players to hit the stones for hours. At one point, a piece of the meteor linked to Season 4 in Fortnite has already been found.
Update: The second secret of the excavation has been revealed. You can see an anchor there.

Such an excavation site has already existed: Just last week, players found such an excavation site near the desert biome. Players also broke the heavy stones there and found a skeleton, a teddy bear, and a geyser underneath. Behind the new location, players now suspect a larger revelation.
What do the players say? The community continues to hope that there is a big story behind it. The geyser in the first excavation site was immediately linked to the new volcano. Players speculate that the entire Fortnite map might change significantly due to the excavations.
A few days ago, players already found hints in the Fortnite code about such an excavation site in Dusty Divot. This caused excitement on Reddit .
How long will the excavation take? There are still more than a handful of stones at the site that need to be broken. It is assumed that most will be removed by the evening of April 2nd, and then it will become clear what lies beneath the stones.
