The 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball will be celebrated with a new anime series. The series will run under the title Dragon Ball Daima and is set to premiere in autumn 2024. Thanks to the Japanese TV station Fuji TV, we know exactly when the anime will start.
When does Dragon Ball Daima start? The first episode of the anime will air on October 11, 2024, on Fuji TV. The first episode is expected to be 10 minutes longer than the subsequent episodes. Accordingly, the anime will begin with a 40-minute episode. All other episodes, which will average around 30 minutes, are reported to be completed by now.
The anime will premiere in Japan at 11:40 PM local time. The previous animes, Dragon Ball Kai and Dragon Ball Super, aired on Sunday mornings, but there was an issue with some regions not having simultaneous access. The late time slot is intended to allow all of Japan to watch at the same time.
It is even possible to watch the first episode before its premiere. Fans can experience the launch of the new anime at the Daimatsuri event in Tokyo. The event will take place on October 6 and revolves around the popular anime. To participate, you need to register for the festival.

Dragon Ball Daima shrinks Son-Goku and others
What is Dragon Ball Daima about? In the anime series, Son-Goku and his friends are shrunk back to child size. However, this does not happen like in Dragon Ball GT: Instead, someone makes a wish to Shenlong, which causes the Z-Team to shrink.
So far, a large part of the Z-Team has been sighted. Only Son-Gohan has been missing in all trailers so far. Therefore, fans speculate that he may not be affected by the shrinking process.
Where can I watch Dragon Ball Daima in Germany? If you do not have access to Japanese television and cannot experience the premiere in Tokyo, you will need to be patient.
So far, it is not known when the series will air in Germany. If it goes like Dragon Ball Super, then the TV series will eventually be available on ProSieben MAXX. Additionally, the streaming service ADN offers all episodes via subscription.
