The fourth main game in the popular Dragon Age series by BioWare will be released next week. In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you can create your own character and assign them to one of 6 different factions. We want to know which faction you will choose.
The latest game from BioWare will be Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which is already the fourth main part of the popular Dragon Age series. You can get hands-on experience starting October 31 and dive into the game with your own character.
This character, aka Rook
, can not only be customized in appearance: you can choose their race, class, and faction. The latter gives your character a story within the adventure, which in turn provides you with unique dialogue and interaction options.
Which faction will you join in your first run? Vote and let us know in the comments why you want to choose this group. Below the poll, we will introduce the factions again.
The Factions – Backgrounds for Your Rook
When you create your character, you choose a race and customize the appearance of the character. Additionally, you must choose one of three different classes. Finally, you give your Rook a backstory by choosing one of six different factions:
- The Grey Wardens
- The order was founded to protect the world from the Darkspawn. Their headquarters is at the fortress of Weisshaupt, but they are active all over the world of Dragon Age.
- The Masters of Destiny
- The Masters of Destiny are a relatively new group in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. They made their debut as treasure hunters, explorers, and hunters in the anthology Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights.
- The Crows of Antiva
- The Crows are based in the city that bears their name: Antiva. The assassin guild influences their nation from behind the scenes as best they can. They do not shy away from contract killings – even the royal family is not safe from them.
- The Shadow Dragons
- This group may be familiar to you from Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights and the comic Dragon Age: The Missing. The Shadow Dragons are a resistance movement that fights for the abolition of slavery and against corruption.
- The Veiljumpers
- The Veiljumpers also made their first appearance in a comic and a short story. This group of researchers explores ancient elven ruins in the forest of Arlathan.
- The Mourning Watch
- Anyone who joins the Mourning Watch becomes a member of a necromantic order that deals with failed magic, Nevarran funerary rites, and the possession of corpses. The group is known from Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights.
