The developers of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout are celebrating: They have made it into the Guinness Book of Records 2022. Their game is the “most downloaded PS Plus game” of all time. This puts it ahead of major shooters like Call of Duty or Destiny 2.
What record is that?
- PS Plus is Sony’s paid service that allows you to use the online features of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
- Every month, Sony also offers “free downloadable games”: These games can be downloaded for free by subscribers for one month and then kept forever.
- The game Fall Guys (currently costs €15) was free in PS Plus in August 2020. Now, Fall Guys celebrates that it is the “most downloaded PS Plus game” of all time and has thus made it into the Guinness Book of Records 2022.
This is what the developers say: In a blog post, they highlight how successful their game is:
- They were nominated for a BAFTA award
- There is a separate documentary from ESPN
- And now they have made it into the “Guinness Book of World Records”

Which games has Fall Guys beaten? Already at the end of August 2020, Sony announced that Fall Guys has won this title. However, Sony did not disclose exact numbers.
