The most expensive yacht in the world belongs to the richest man in Malaysia. However, the special thing is not the price, but the material it is said to be made of. However, no one knows if the yacht really exists, as no one has seen it in public yet.
What kind of yacht is it? It is the “History Supreme.” The 30-meter long yacht was designed by the British luxury designer Stuart Hughes. He allegedly took three years to build the ship.
By mid-2021, the construction was supposed to be completed. The ship is said to belong to the richest man in Malaysia, Robert Kuok. His fortune is estimated to be nearly twelve billion US dollars. This is reported by the English magazine Forbes.com.
Yacht made of gold, platinum, and dinosaur bones
What is the yacht made of? The 30-meter long ship is coated with 100,000 kilos of solid gold, silver, and platinum used for the hull, deck, and interior. Coating boats with metal is not unusual; however, gold and platinum are not considered floating metals.
The presumably special feature of this yacht is not the many gold but the interior cabin. One wall has been decorated with the bones of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, and another wall with meteorite fragments.
Even before the yacht, the designer Stuart Hughes has used dinosaur fossils for his projects. Before the “History Supreme,” he had already presented a modified iPad design that also contained these prehistoric elements.
What is strange about the yacht? The colleagues from Xataka report that the yacht has never been spotted outside the shipyard. Until now, the yacht could only be seen in the designer’s official photos.
Some speculate that it might just be a big joke, while others believe it is more of a piece for a museum. At least, the furnishings made of dinosaur bones suggest so. The existence of the “History Supreme” is therefore not considered guaranteed.
