The Tyger Claws are one of the largest gangs in Night City, incredibly respected and feared. They too are very territorial and show no mercy when it comes to defending their territories and members, and they often seek brutal revenge. In this respect and in their methods, the Tyger Claws resemble the Japanese Yakuza: If just one member is insulted, regardless of rank, a prompt response from the entire gang will follow.
The Tyger Claws are aware of their status and are not shy about exploiting it. Many who rest on their reputation tend to episodes of violence and inappropriate behavior, which high-ranking bosses may not approve of but often do not act when these youngsters must face the consequences of their actions. Honor means everything to the Tyger Claws.
The gang rules over the nightlife hotspot in Night City, where conflicts often arise, but their true power – and what makes them even more dangerous than the Valentinos – is their connections to some megacorporations.
Especially with the upper management of Arasaka, the Tyger Claws maintain a solid relationship and are regularly hired to take on their dirty work. In return, they receive cyberware and technology, as well as strong military weapons.
Their criminal activities include not only contract work for corporations but also money laundering, prostitution, human trafficking, contract killings, and drug dealing, especially with the psychedelic drug “Glitter.”
