In the MMORPG Tarisland, preparations for the new season are in full swing. In a developer update, they recently showcased areas of the new map that are set to launch with the Steam release. A familiar boss is also making a comeback.
What kind of area is this? In the MMORPG Tarisland, instead of large updates once a year, there is a fresh season every few months that brings not only a new battle pass but also many new contents. After the game launched in Season 0, it will continue in October with Season 1 “Blight Dragon Elegy”.
For the next season, the developers have announced not only new dungeons, raids, and a new skill system but also a new map with some areas that will transport us to a wintery snow landscape. Now the developers are revealing the first details about it.

Snow, Ice, and Lava characterize the new area
What does the new map offer? The new map, which is set to be released simultaneously with the game on Steam, features a wintery snow landscape that represents the home of the people of the Kingdom of Grenny. They endure the harsh climate and are known for their seafaring and hunting skills.
The Snow Leopard Clan also resides in the snowy north. They were there before the humans and survive the winter temperatures thanks to their thick fur. Their settlements are made of animal bones and have always been in tune with nature. They can be found mainly in the southwest of the ice field.
But many dangers also lurk in the new area. Hot lava flows through the cold barren world, coming from an active underwater volcano. The lava has formed an island where an old acquaintance can be found.
Who awaits on the lava island? The lava island is home to an old raid boss from Season 0, the Monarch of Omen. He is recovering there from the lost battle against the players and is plotting his revenge.
His parasitic abilities allow him to regenerate and survive repeatedly. On the lava island, he also uses the energy of the volcano by absorbing the fury and power of the erupting lava to strengthen himself.
The players will have to figure out how to defeat the Monarch of Omen once and for all before facing the battle against the raid boss.
