The wishlist is important for the MMORPG
What does the campaign look like? To get more people to add the MMORPG to their wishlist, the developers have come up with a new campaign. Players are to defeat the raid boss Aslow, which also exists in the game, outside of the game.
For each person who adds Tarisland to their wishlist on Steam, the boss will receive one damage point. With 10,000 health, 10,000 users are needed to add the game to their list to defeat the boss. However, there is no official counter or a way to see the exact number of wishlist entries.
Behind the wishlist on Steam is an algorithm that decides how many other users a game is shown to based on the number of users who have it on their wishlist, reports akuparagames.com.
What is the reward? As a reward, there are 500 codes for the community, which are supposed to contain the premium currency “Achromatic Crystals.” Players can spend these crystals on skins and premium passes in the shop.
However, the distribution of the codes is not related to the users who have actually added the game to their wishlist. Moreover, there are only 500 codes for the potential 10,000 users participating in the campaign.
