A submarine with several tourists on board, who wanted to explore the wreck of the Titanic, has disappeared without a trace. According to media such as ABC, there were two millionaires on board, a millionaire’s son, a pilot, and a researcher.
So far, neither the submarine nor the crew has been found. However, it has now been discovered that the submarine was supposedly controlled with a gaming controller from Logitech. At this time, this assumption has neither been confirmed nor denied.

In the course of these investigations, some users have noticed interesting details about the submarine, such as the retrofit of an old Logitech controller from 2005 that is used to control the vessel. A video showing the controller has been shared by Dexerto on Twitter. Here you can see a member holding the controller:
The device is a wireless Logitech F710 with a symmetrical button layout, like those known from Xbox controllers. The two thumbsticks are located at the front and the remaining buttons are arranged in the back half.
You can currently get the Logitech controller on Amazon for around 40 euros. The wired version is now available for around 25 euros:

The person who is said to have controlled the submarine has slightly modified the controller. To control the submarine with it, the joysticks were replaced with two modified joysticks that are somewhat larger. Therefore, a modified version of the controller is used.
The popularity of such old controllers is also demonstrated by a manufacturer that has now introduced a “new” product. This is an ancient Xbox 360 controller that is still very popular today. A design that many manufacturers still copy and sell:
