Rank 4: Isildur
From Elendil to his son Isildur: He also has his appearance at the beginning of the first film. After his father’s sword breaks, Isildur manages to cut the One Ring from Sauron’s finger. Thereafter, the dark lord seems defeated, and Isildur takes the ring for himself after he refuses to destroy it.
He is a man brave enough to face Sauron himself. Not many can do that. He is also a good king for his land Gondor before the One Ring corrupts him and makes him reckless. In the end, he falls victim to an ambush by orcs but goes down in the history of Middle-earth forever.
