Place 3: Gimli
Gimli is widely known because he was one of the nine companions from “The Lord of the Rings”. He was part of the folk of Durin and therefore belonged to the dwarves of Erebor.
Gimli is an excellent warrior who makes quick work of his opponents in battle and takes great delight in outdoing his companion Legolas in terms of kill count.
Gimli deserves this place 3 particularly because he participates in some of the most important battles in Middle-earth and emerges victorious. Just think of Helm’s Deep, a battle that might have gone differently without Gimli. Although the fellowship had already been broken by then, Frodo’s journey to Mount Doom also succeeded because Gimli fought for freedom in other places.
