With the latest update, Epic has placed shrines on the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale. We have all the locations for you – and what the shrines actually offer!
Epic regularly brings new, interesting locations to Fortnite: Battle Royale that promise even more fat loot. Over Christmas, huge Christmas trees were spread across the map, carrying up to three treasure chests as gifts.
In honor of the Chinese New Year, you can now visit seven shrines scattered across the map – and grab some loot! We will show you where these shrines are located on the map.
Seven Shrines with Loot – Where to Find Them?
A total of seven shrines are distributed across the map. This is exciting, as the number 8 is considered a lucky number in China, while 7 is an unlucky number. This shouldn’t discourage superstitious players, as the shrines usually offer quite a bit of loot.

You can find up to three treasure chests in each shrine. They also serve a meaningful purpose: they attract more players to the shrines, alleviating cities like Tilted Towers.
Here you can find the seven shrines:
- Shrine 1 – Northeast of Pleasant Park, towards Anarchy Acres
- Shrine 2 – Between Anarchy Acres and the Wailing Woods, north of Tomato Town
- Shrine 3 – Southwest of Tomato Town, located towards Loot Lake
- Shrine 4 – Directly west of Lonely Lodge, north of the trailer park
- Shrine 5 – Southeast of Tilted Towers
- Shrine 6 – Northeast of Fatal Fields, northwest of the prison
- Shrine 7 – South of Fatal Fields at the edge of the map
You can also refer to the following map for the exact locations:

The shrines can certainly be used as landing spots. Unlike the Christmas trees, these are not placed at the hot spots on the map, but separately. Therefore, they offer a good landing opportunity for solo players.
However, duos and squads will not be able to gather enough loot to be equipped for the round and should therefore look for a place that promises more loot.
