Surprisingly, Overwatch has been expanded with a new map. Paris is now playable on the PTR with some sights.
Completely unexpectedly, there was suddenly a new patch for the PTR of Overwatch. Anyone who ventures onto Blizzard’s shooter test server can now thoroughly test a new map. It takes you to the futuristic heart of France – right to Paris.
Paris mixes classic with modern: From the first glance at the map, it is clear that Paris has not changed as much as other places in the Overwatch universe. At least the appearance remains ancient to classic, although numerous details have been replaced by technology. Omnics can be found everywhere, and many holograms, hard-light applications, or bots have their place on the map.

Paris is an “Assault” map: The new map Paris is of the game mode “Assault”. This means that there are a total of two control points that must be captured by the attacking team and defended by the defending team. There is no payload to be found in Paris.
When will Paris be released? There is still no release date for the Paris map. However, many hints suggest that it could be around February 14. Because that is Valentine’s Day. Paris is known as the city of love, and many of the released posters (which are also visible in the map) show romantic scenes or plays. A release on the day of love would be extremely fitting.
