The developers of Chrono Odyssey not only released a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest 2025, but also detailed when the closed beta is set to take place.
What did the developers reveal? The closed beta of Chrono Odyssey, announced in May 2025 is scheduled to take place from June 20 to June 22, 2025, with Europe (alongside North America and Asia) receiving its own beta server.
Additionally, the team from Chrono Studio presented a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest, once again highlighting the dark game world, but also showcasing many combat scenes. But see for yourself:

How do I participate in the beta? It is a closed beta phase, which can only be accessed by invitation. Those who want an early look at the new MMORPG must have a Steam account. Visit the product page for Chrono Odyssey on Steam and select “Request access” under “Participate in the Chrono Odyssey Playtest”.

What do I need to know about Chrono Odyssey? Chrono Odyssey was first introduced in late 2020. About 120 developers are working on the game. The action MMORPG will immerse you in the world of Setera, which is not only large, seamless, diverse, and open but is also said to be in constant flux—such as through seasonal changes and weather events.
This change will also be triggered by time travel, as you can switch between past, present, and future. The transition is said to happen seamlessly in the game world—similar to the travel between the two worlds in Lords of the Fallen from 2023.
In Chrono Odyssey, you have the choice between six classes: Paladin, Swordsman, Berserker, Assassin, Ranger, and Sorceress. Each class will have multiple weapon types available, which you can freely swap during combat. In battle, irrespective of your class choice, you can use the so-called Chronoprotector to manipulate space and time.
The developers promise dungeon and raid challenges. There will also be PvP content and gathering as well as crafting activities. You can take on tasks like harvesting, logging, mining, and skinning. The resources can be processed into equipment and consumables.
In addition to Chrono Odyssey, other MMORPGs are set to officially launch this year. Other exciting online role-playing games will not go live until at least 2026 or later.
