Not only game trailers delighted the guests of the gamescom ONL: A new series about video games took the audience by storm.
The Opening Night Live of gamescom was characterized by various game trailers, but the presentation of a new series apparently struck a chord with many people in the audience. Applause erupted when Tim Miller, known for the first Deadpool film and the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots, introduced his new project: the series Secret Level
.
Clearly emotionally touched, Miller explained that the series is a love letter to the video game world – and that’s also visible in the new trailer.
Secret Level will take place in various video game worlds, or rather, be inspired by them. Here you can see the trailer:
What kind of series is Secret Level?
When does Secret Level premiere? The series will launch on December 10, 2024, on Amazon Prime.
What’s in it? In the official description, Secret Level is described as an animated series for adults that will take place in the worlds of popular video games. It is an anthology series, meaning the episodes will not be thematically connected.
Instead, there will be 15 different, new stories in various worlds. The trailer features a variety of well-known characters, such as Kratos from God of War and Mega Man. The official announcement mentions the following games:

- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- Various games from PlayStation Studios
