Two major franchises, LEGO and Pokémon, join forces to supposedly release a big and notably expensive product. At least that’s what an alleged leak on Reddit claims.
In March 2025, two franchise fans had reason to celebrate: LEGO and Pokémon announced their collaboration with a brief trailer on YouTube. No further details could be gathered from the announcement apart from a release in 2026.
The community’s fear that the joint sets would be expensive may now have been confirmed. The subreddit r/Legoleak frequently posts hints about upcoming LEGO sets. User CarterBricks04 recently surprised with his post detailing the upcoming Pokémon-LEGO sets – and they could be significant both in size and price.
LEGO had previously teamed up with the Batman franchise to release a joint video game:

How expensive will the sets be? According to the post on Reddit, Pokémon and LEGO fans will need to dig deep into their pockets if they want to afford the sets. The following information regarding size and price is provided in the post:
- LEGO Set No. 72151 has 587 pieces and is said to cost 59.99 US dollars, which is approximately 51.44 Euros
- LEGO Set No. 72152 has 2,050 pieces and is said to cost 199.99 US dollars, which is approximately 171.49 Euros
- LEGO Set No. 72153 has 6,838 pieces and is said to cost 649.99 US dollars, which is approximately 557.35 Euros
Especially the information about the third LEGO set is surprising. With so many pieces, this Pokémon-LEGO set is larger than the LEGO set for the AT-AT from Star Wars, which has a total of 6,785 pieces.
When will the sets be released? The Reddit post also states that the sets are expected to be available for purchase on March 1, 2026. For LEGO insiders, it is supposed to start as early as February 27. The date might fit since February 27 is Pokémon Day.

Whether the information is accurate and whether fans will be able to spend their money on the sets in February or March 2026 remains to be seen.
