In FC 24 the speed of a player continues to define how much they are favored by the community. An example from the Bundesliga proves that these values do not always align with reality. The statistically fastest professional in German football is disregarded due to their low pace value.
This is the situation:
- EA Sports sets the ratings and stats of the base cards in Ultimate Team at the beginning of the season based on past performances. These can only be adjusted to real performances through special versions, as there are no more winter upgrades.
- This means that the values of a young player who performs surprisingly well on the real pitch can differ from what they actually deserve.
- A fitting example can be found in the Bundesliga. The professional who recorded the highest top speed in the 23/24 season has just a relatively common silver card in the virtual trading card game, with a pace value that is hardly exceptional.
His price on the transfer market: Only 200 coins, the smallest possible amount. But who is hiding behind this?
Better than Davies, Frimpong, or Sane – The fastest player in the Bundesliga is actually a silver card
This player is currently outpacing everyone: The fastest player of the ongoing Bundesliga season is currently lacing up his boots for 1. FC Heidenheim, although he is actually under contract with Werder Bremen. His name is Eren Dinkci.
With a top speed of 36.41 km/h, the German-Turk is clearly ahead of his pursuers Silas Katompa Mvumpa (36.15 km/h from VfB Stuttgart) and Sheraldo Becker (36.07 km/h from Union Berlin) – even though the latter is no longer playing in the top German league.
The much more prominent names that one would probably expect to find on the podium are only following behind. But Alphonso Davies (36.02 km/h from Bayern Munich), Jeremie Frimpong (35.96 km/h from Bayer Leverkusen), and Leroy Sane (35.82 km/h from Bayern Munich) are currently content with ranks four to six.
However, even though the 22-year-old player is currently a literal step ahead of the competition, this is not yet reflected in the FC 24 UT values. While Silas has a pace of 87, Becker has 94 pace, Davies 95 pace, Frimpong 94 pace, and Sane 91 pace, Dinkci lags behind with a pace value of 82.
Given his performances, an upgrade with the release of FC 25 should be certain for him. Then, the talent from the ranks of Werder Bremen, who has already scored seven goals, could finally receive the appreciation from the community that he deserves.
