In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, the developers have released a guide for the Imperial City.
It will start on August 31 on PC, and on September 15 and 16 on the consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One: The Imperial City will open its gates, and Update 7 will be released.
This will be the first truly new content to come to the game in over half a year. Up until now in 2015, the focus of the developers has been on transitioning to a Buy2Play model and the launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
However, the period of fasting will soon come to an end: Because the Imperial City will bring a lot, with new gameplay mechanics, armor, a higher level cap, and much more.
But it’s not just systems that are coming to the game. The Imperial City is also a place to explore, with new adventures to experience. The Imperial City is divided into 6 above-ground districts, each with its own story and design. These are essentially quest areas.
Then there are two dungeons to explore: The Prison of the Imperial City and the White Gold Tower. At both locations, players will feel the unholy presence of the Daedra. Here, players who want nothing to do with all the PvP stuff can also go directly.
But 6 districts and two instances are not everything: The three factions have prepared hideouts in the sewers, essentially safe zones, and this very sewer is, in itself, another adventure. It can happen that one gets hopelessly lost in all the game content. Therefore, Zenimax has now published a “guide” for the Imperial City, complete with a large map and a legend. This way you can always see where the hideouts of your faction are in the 6 areas.
