In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, the next expansion, the DLC “Orsinium”, now has a trailer and a release date.
Quarterly, Zenimax intends to release new DLC. After players waited a long time for the Imperial City, things are moving a bit faster now. The PvE expansion Orsinium will be released in November:
Orsinium will be available on PC on November 2, on Xbox One on November 17, and on PlayStation 4 on November 18. Access costs 3000 crowns. The DLC is available for free to subscribers.
Orcs in Focus in The Elder Scrolls Online Expansion Orsinium
The expansion is set to include 20 hours of gameplay, filled with new stories and quests. The aim is to restore the Orc city to its former glory.
The DLC centers around the Orcs of Tamriel. A new ongoing challenge called the “Maelstrom Arena” comes with it, along with leaderboards. Additionally, there are two new public dungeons, 6 bosses to defeat, and a plethora of new gear, including 18 sets.
Craftsmen and collectors will be pleased with a new armor style and a variety of fresh recipes. An hour of newly composed music will also be included in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Additionally, Orsinium brings some long-announced improvements: On PC, players will be able to play with a gamepad. Changes to group searching are also expected in the patch, allowing players to search across factions in dungeons soon.
Moreover, subtitles, the ability to dye shields, and changes to the champion system are coming, giving new players a chance to catch up to over-leveled champions.
It has been known for some time now that Orsinium will not raise the level cap in The Elder Scrolls Online, and there will not be a new raid or trial either. That is planned for the first DLC in 2016. The Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild are expected in the first half of next year.
