In The Elder Scrolls Online, Zenimax provides players on Xbox One with a trial weekend.
Last weekend, players on PS4 and PC were able to try out the base game of The Elder Scrolls Online for free. Xbox One players were told: Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you. We will let you know when it’s your turn. Normally, one thinks: Alright, until 2018 or so, but no, it only took a few days for Zenimax to fulfill the promise.
Play ESO for free on Xbox One – from 23rd November to 28th November.
Starting Wednesday, 23rd November, you will be able to download ESO on Xbox One. A subscription to Xbox Gold is required. To download, simply go to the Xbox Store and search for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The trial weekend ends on 28th November at 5:59 AM our time.
During this time, players have access to the base game The Elder Scrolls Online (without the DLCs). As a welcome gift, you will also receive 500 Crowns, which you can splurge in the game store.
