In The Elder Scrolls Online, duels are introduced. The first form of PvP outside of Cyrodiil.
For a long time, Zenimax was hesitant to offer PvP outside of the castle battles around Cyrodiil. A planned open PvP within the justice system has been put on hold. The promised battlefields, a structured PvP, are still awaited. But in October, “man against man” duels are coming with One Tamriel.

The duels are informal and straightforward: You challenge the opponent. If they accept, the fight begins until one bites the dust. However, they are offered a free resurrection.
The actual combat takes place within a radius around a flag. Anyone who strays too far from it receives a warning and can be disqualified. Outside interference in the duel is not possible: Neither buffs nor healing spells from third parties will work.
There are three achievements newly available in ESO. For a victory, 25, and 100 victories in duels. The Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven has emerged as a “hotspot” where duelists meet.
The feature will be released with One Tamriel at the beginning of October on PC and mid-October on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It can already be tried out on the PC test server.
