In addition to that, he meets weekly with his colleague Yves Arievich to chat in the Podcast Nerd & Kultur about pop culture topics like Star Wars, Marvel, and DC.
Both the YouTube channel and the podcast are part of the Webedia network, which also includes MeinMMO.
In his new video, Marco analyzes the 6th episode of House of the Dragon and explains, among other things, the current situation of the dragons:
Dragons and Power Dynamics
At the beginning of his video, Marco explains the connection between the dragons and their riders. To soothe dragons, there is a Valyrian song that is also sung in the episode. The song addresses the fate between dragons and riders. However, it also becomes clear here that dragons are not controllable beings.
Thus, there are also dragons without riders that should only be near their nest, as defined by George R.R. Martin himself. However, Sheepstealer seems to be hunting far away from his own nest. In addition to Sheepstealer, there are three other dragons that currently have no rider: Vermithor, Silverwing, and Sea Smoke.
Marco explains how the 6th episode shows that the power dynamics are changing. This is symbolized not only through the camera but also through the dragons. The contrast between Ser Darklyn, who approaches Sea Smoke unsuccessfully, and Sea Smoke, who approaches Adam in another scene, symbolizes the change.
Meanwhile, Aemond seems to have some problems with his acquired power. Nothing seems to be working properly. Jason Lannister, Aegon, and Alicent show that nothing is going the way Aemond would like.
Daemon and Alice Rivers
Among the common people, the rebellion against the nobility is escalating. There is too little food, causing the conflict between the nobility and the people to escalate further. Rhaenyra’s and Mysaria’s plan works. Rhaenyra wants power, but her advisors want Daemon.
Daemon, on the other hand, must confront his fears and dreams. Alice Rivers is there to support him, and we finally find out whether Alice Rivers really exists or only appears in Daemon’s dreams. The supernatural is broken through, and it initially seems that Daemon has faced everything.
