The upcoming online shooter “Tom Clancy’s The Division” is expected to be a flagship title for Ubisoft.
Like Activision and other companies, Ubisoft also held a financial conference for investors and analysts. The focus was on two games that the company is betting on in the near future: alongside Far Cry: Primal, this is primarily Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemont said, The Division:
- has received over 100 nominations and awards.
- is regularly among the games customers wanted to purchase from Gamestop.
- Retail partners have assured Ubisoft that they have great confidence in the game and want to support Ubisoft in every way at launch.
- will make players “very happy” during the beta.
- is progressing “very well” in development. The quality is at a “very high level.”
The Division will be released in March 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A beta for Xbox One is expected in December.
